Yes, tea options are included in all our Espresso Bar Menu packages and Drip Coffee Bar Menu packages! 

We have a mixture of loose leaf tea (black and green) and teabag options. 

None taken! We understand that your event means a lot to you and coffee catering can make or break your guests’ experience.

This small business was started by a barista who missed making coffee so much, she went back to the hospitality scene in 2023. Hopefully we can assure you that her experience since 2017 and our past client’s positive feedback guarantees a delicious cup of coffee – the first time every time. 

No, we do not charge by cups!

Our business model is to offer our clients and their event guests the freeflow experience. The hire rate will be determined by your event size, duration, menu of choice, and additional requests. 

We quote by the hours, not cups.

We require a deposit that is 50% of your expected quote (for over $1,000) or $300 (for under $1,000).

Deposit payment is required to lock in your booking with us and to unlock any special rates. 

For cancellations 28 days ahead of your booking day, we offer a 100% refund of any payment you’ve made to us.

Afterwards our policy does not allow any refunds, exceptional compassion circumstances aside. 

In the unlikely event of an unforeseen circumstance and cancellation by Homey Coffee Bar, our clients will receive the full deposit back. We will also endeavour to notify you within 24 hours.

Based on your event size estimate, we will determine the appropriate barista hire team in your quote.

The exception is an inconvenience fee or late fee. If changes are made about your event that might have been unreported to us, with regards to our Terms of Service. 

We usually require four weeks notice and deposit settlement to cater for an event.

However, we are possibly able to do late bookings if a team is available.

No, we are not a coffee van. We are more than happy to refer you to trusted coffee van caterers on request.

Our coffee cart service is for indoor private events.

We are not a coffee van and usually turn down outdoor events. This is to protect our electrical equipment from the elements (and ensures your coffee doesn’t have surprising ‘additions’ flying into it).

However, for the Drip Coffee Bar hire – we could potentially do outdoor events that are i) adequately undercover and ii) powered.

Drip coffee or Pourover coffee is also not extracted by a machine, but is hand-poured with a precise temperature kettle that has a thin, smaller spout to control a slower water pour (this is called a gooseneck kettle).

This is accompanied by our pourover cone (glass or ceramic) and coffee filters.
